Wild Mountain Snow Tubing in Pittsburgh is a “First come First Serve” event (advanced paid reservations are accepted). Sometimes due to weather conditions, Wild Mountain operates with limited capacity e.g., a limited amount of runs open or only a single lift-line in operation. We try tirelessly to make enough snow so that we are always completely operational, but when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, there is nothing we can do… We cannot make snow if the temperatures are above 25 degrees. In addition, we need many days in a row of temperatures in the low 20’s to make enough snow to operate (even marginally). So if you find yourself facing the above-mentioned conditions, please be patient and know that we are doing all we can do to bring Wild Mountain Snow Tubing to you.
